Hip joint arthrosis – coxarthrosis
Osteoarthritis of the hip joint
If pain occurs in the hip and groin area when bending over, beginning to walk, or going down hills or stairs, this may be an indication of hip osteoarthritis. The medical term coxarthrosis is a wear and tear disease of the hip joint which, if severe and without early treatment, usually leads to the need for an artificial hip joint.
